This week, Som Ecologística has joined the Cluster Catalonia Logistics as a new member, strengthening the ecosystem of sustainable innovation and environmental commitment within the logistics sector.

Som Ecologística is a cooperative cycle logistics network that brings together various organisations from across the region and promotes the development of a more sustainable and locally rooted urban freight distribution model in Catalonia. Through intercooperation, it fosters a real alternative to traditional logistics based on social and environmental criteria.

Through the organisations that make it up, it provides last-mile delivery services using bicycles and cargo cycles, contributing to emissions reduction and improving the quality of life in cities.

Beyond its operational activities, Som Ecologística carries out advisory and support work for companies and public administrations, helping them move towards more efficient and sustainable urban distribution models, as well as promoting training and new initiatives linked to cycle logistics.

Its model is based on the principles of the Social and Solidarity Economy, fostering cooperation, sustainability, and the generation of positive social and environmental impact.

With this incorporation, Cluster Catalonia Logistics continues to expand its network of members with initiatives committed to a more sustainable and innovative logistics sector, aligned with current industry challenges.
